Between Mallorca and Ibiza

Between Mallorca and Ibiza

Two islands, and the feeling I return to.

Some places become part of how you imagine your life.

For me, Mallorca is one of them. I keep returning, drawn as much to the streets of Palma as to the quieter stretches of coast. Each visit leaves me with the same thought: perhaps, one day, a home here.

What draws me to Mallorca is the thought of staying beyond the holiday. Not just packing a suitcase for a week, but imagining an ordinary day there. A slower morning, a walk through Palma, the sea somewhere close by.

Perhaps that is the difference between a place you enjoy visiting and one you can imagine calling home.

Pine trees and palms above a terrace overlooking turquoise water.

Ibiza holds a different kind of appeal. I am drawn to its relaxed style and natural beauty, to a sense of summer that feels unforced. The two islands are distinct, yet both remind me how little a good summer day really needs.

That feeling finds its way into Stina Segergren. When I think about swimwear, I think about the life around it too. A swim, time by the water, an afternoon with no reason to rush. Pieces that feel considered, but never complicated.

For me, timelessness is not about keeping something untouched. It is about wanting to wear it again, packing it for another journey and making new memories in it.

Sunlight shimmering on the sea beyond a palm-lined pool.

Perhaps that is why I keep returning to the Mediterranean. Not to repeat the same holiday, but to find that feeling again.
